Jim Santy Auditorium

Park City Film operates out of the historic Jim Santy Auditorium. The theater is located on the third floor of the Park City Library Building, which is accessible via elevator using the main/ground level doors to the building on the North end, and features ADA accessible seating and ADA bathrooms.

Closed Captioning, Assisted Audio and Audio Description are available for selected films (please check individual film pages). Devices can be checked out at the Box Office upon arrival.

AUDIO DESCRIPTIONS FOR VISION LOSS

Adjustable volume for all movie sound & dialogue via a Personal Audio headphone receiver with an additional audio track mixed in with the movie sound where a narrator describes the action. This narration takes place in dialogue-free moments.

CLOSED CAPTIONING (PERSONAL TEXT DISPLAY)

Placed in any individual seat’s cup holder and can easily adjusted to accommodate the viewer’s sight line (for severely hard of hearing or Deaf patrons who need text to know the dialogue and other sounds that are happening).

ACCESSIBLE SEATING

The Santy Auditorium includes 6 designated spots for wheelchairs, 22 transfer arms on the inside and outside aisles and seats varying in width from 21″ – 24″ (see seating map for details). Specific seats can be reserved in advance by contacting Park City Film at katy at parkcityfilm.org.
