The Raising Voices Film Series showcases, celebrates and elevates voices and communities that have traditionally been underrepresented in the arts. The intention of the program is to create a platform for engaged community dialogue that will help bridge divides, reduce bias and discrimination and promote a sense of connectedness and inclusion. Liat Atzili was kidnapped from her kibbutz on October 7. What begins as a chronicle of her parents, sister, and children's efforts to secure her return, becomes a portrait of conflicting impulses towards anger, indifference, and compassion straining the bonds of one grieving family.
