BalletNEXT 10th Anniversary Documentary + Q&A

2021 marks ten years since former American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, Michele Wiles, created her own collaborative dance company, BalletNEXT. It’s also a year of revival, and BalletNEXT’s first year in its new permanent home – Park City.

To celebrate – alongside a week-long performance series featuring world-class dancers and musicians – BalletNEXT has created a short film documenting the development of the company, and looking back at Michele’s career.

Fusing archive material with interviews, excerpts of rehearsals, and performance footage, this film takes a fascinating peek behind-the-scenes of life in the professional dance world. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Michele Wiles.
