About the Film
Chef Tony Geraci, food-service director for Baltimore’s public schools is leading the charge to replace pre-plated, processed cafeteria foods with locally-grown, freshly-prepared meals. His bold vision includes school vegetable gardens, student-designed meals, meatless Mondays, and nutrition education in the classroom. His mission is as audacious as it is practical. Presented in partnership with EATS (Eat Awesome Things at School) and supported by a grant from The Park City Community Foundation.
Panel discussion to follow film with Kate Geagan, dietician, Dr Metos, Kathleen Britton, Director of Child Nutrition Services, PCSD, and, Jen Hales, PCSD teacher.
Zane Prep (now called Zaniac) will be open from 6:30-9pm on Thursday, Oct 24th for kids ages 5-12. While their parents are enjoying CAFETERIA MAN, the team at Zaniac will engage the kids in math oriented games and activities for the duration. There is no charge for the service.
