Caterina in the Big City

A family from the Italian countryside moves to Rome and gets caught up in both extremes of modern Italian politics. Neither the left nor the right steps into the winner’s circle under the director’s comic, sardonic and knowing gaze. Sergio Castellito (Mostly Martha) stars with newcomer Alice Teghil as Caterina who must survive the social pressures of a new high school. Many of Italy’s most famous actors including Roberto Benigni make cameo appearances.
