About the Film
Who controls the future of your food? GMO OMG explores the potential loss of humanity’s most precious and ancient inheritance: seeds. GMO OMG follows one family’s struggle to live and eat without participating in an unhealthy, unjust, and destructive corporate food system, and the growing global movement to take back what we have lost.
After the film will be a Q&A with a panel of local organic food, health and environment experts, including Fred Montague and Andrea Morgan.
Fred Montague moved to Utah to teach wildlife ecology, environmental science and organic gardening at the University of Utah. He is currently Professor Emeritus of Biology. Fred endeavors to incorporate art into his teaching, and teaching into his art, which can be found at mountainbearink.com
Morgan is currently working as an organic farmer at Ranui Gardens. Previously she taught school children about sustainable growing practices and worked to create schoolyard gardens.
