About the Film
This film is a love story – encompassing the 42 years and 12 films – between legendary actress Liv Ullmann and master filmmaker Ingmar Bergman. With behind-the-scenes footage, photographs, and letters, we are shown an affectionate yet truthful account of two intertwined and extraordinary lives. Told from Liv Ullmann’s point of view, this is a candid look, not only at two of the greatest cinema artists of our time, but at two all-too-human beings.
