About the Film
The Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize for Originality in 2005 went to this inspired debut feature by LA performance artist Miranda July. The film brings a fresh perspective to several age-old human dilemmas: the longing of children to become adults, the longing of adults to recapture their youth and the difficulty of finding true love at any age. Few films display the effortlessness and integrity of Miss July’s quirky vision.
