About the Film
The music that came out of this famous production studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama was some of America’s most creative and defiant rock and roll. This documentary pays loving homage to the studio’s founder, while examining the studio’s part in the civil rights movement and local Southern history. Luminaries such as Mick Jagger, Etta James, Alicia Keys, and many more are prominently featured as they celebrate the place that Muscle Shoals will forever hold in music history.
