About the Film
The crafty locals in a tiny, remote Quebec seaside village cook up an elaborate scheme to make a permanent resident of a much-needed physician. Dr. Lewis is young, handsome and hip and does not plan to stay very long. The film has a sweet comic nature that helped it win the Audience Award for International Cinema at last year’s Sundance Film Festival.
A treasure – a warm-hearted film of considerable charm. – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times
