Hollywood legend Ridley Scott and Academy Award winners Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard come together for this adaptation of author Peter Mayle’s best-selling novel about a banker who relocates to Provence in hopes of selling a small vineyard he has inherited. After Max arrives to find the vineyard in a crumbling state of disrepair, he decides to stay and devote his life to rebuilding it and living a bucolic existence in the French countryside. The film feels like an idyllic vacation.

Directed by the celebrated Alexander Payne, this delightful character study follows two friends through California wine country. In a last-ditch effort to sow their wild oats, Jack and Miles take off on one final road trip just before Jack’s wedding. Both men have goals for the vacation: Miles wants to turn Jack on to the art of wine tasting, while Jack is concerned with exploiting his last days as a bachelor. When the two men come across two fascinating women, the duo is forced to examine their morality and their maturity.
Pair this fun and interesting wine tasting event with a tasting of gourmet pizzas provided by World Kitchen at The Market at Park City. World Kitchen makes their dough and pizza sauce from scratch, and will be topping our pizzas with locally produced cured meats and cheeses. Pizzas will be delivered hot to the theater just in time for a post-film snack.
