The Band’s Visit

The Ceremonial Police Band of Alexandria, Egypt, journeys to a gig in Israel but gets lost on the way. So begins this fish-out-of-water comedy, The Band’s Visit. Lost in a small desert town, the group accepts an invitation from a sexy café owner to bunk at her residence. Unexpected romance and funny situations develop between the Israeli community and their Egyptian guests. This is a moving and amusing story about the universal bonds that unite us despite our differences.
