The Great Buck Howard

John Malkovich stars as the irrepressible Buck Howard in this comedy about a cabaret performer who dreams of a big comeback. Confident in his own celebrity, Buck just needs a new road manager to get his career rolling. A recent law school drop-out and would-be writer, played winningly by Collin Hanks (Tom’s son), takes on the manager’s job. With a bold stroke of fate, Buck surprisingly lands back into the “big time”, taking Troy along for the ride of his life. As the coveted spotlight again shines on the great Buck Howard, Buck becomes the unlikeliest of teachers as Troy learns a few tricks he couldn’t possibly have picked up in law school.
