About the Film
This is the true story of a Bohemian St. Francis and his remarkable relationship with a flock of wild green-and-red parrots. An eccentric and like able street musician in San Francisco becomes the guardian of the flock as he searches for meaning in his life, unaware that the wild parrots will bring him everything he needs. He has become an expert having educated himself on the care of these adorable creatures whose personalities mirrors our own. Appealing as both a nature documentary and character study, this touching story features a surprise ending that is sure to move and inspire.
