About the Film
Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins stars in a tale of a funny elderly character who sets out to become the world’s fastest motorcyclist at an age when most of his contemporaries are settling into rocking chairs. The story follows the true life of Burt Munro, a New Zealander who with his 1920 Indian Scout motorcycle, sets a world record for speed on the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Hopkins is thoroughly engaging in this whimsical and honest portrayal.
One of the year’s most lovable movies. – Roger Ebert, Ebert and Roeper
