This well-crafted documentary, set in the heart of bucolic Auvergne, France follows an academic year in the lives of a dozen four to ten year old children. They come to their one room school everyday where their remarkably dedicated teacher is responsible for every subject from math to gym to all of life’s lessons. The film is eloquent, touching and inspirational.
