The pre-film reception will be across the corridor from the theatre from 6-7:30pm and features WARLORDS OF IVORY director John Heminway and Ellen O’Connell of TUSK USA.

Every year, some 30,000 elephant are killed across Africa. Who are the kingpins? Warlords of Ivory follows investigative journalist Bryan Christy’s gripping investigation to find the criminals and to understand the true dimensions of the crime. Using technology never before deployed, the journey takes him into one of the darkest corners of Africa, a killing field for both elephants and humans. What he finds has geo-political impact. Film will be followed by a Q&A with director John Heminway. Screening is a fundraising event for TUSK, a nonprofit organization working to prevent the poaching of elephants and their tusks.
