Park City Film is excited to bring back the Twilight Drive-In at the Utah Olympic Park for its third season this summer! The new season is already off to a successful start with screenings of ‘Black Panther’ and ‘The Alpinist’ – The last drive-in film in June will be Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune,’ rated PG-13 on June 25th. Park City Film will take a break in July and return with more drive-in film screenings in August and September, with dates and titles to be announced.
To go along with our Twilight Drive-In films, we’ll be running a Dinner and a Movie Promotion in June and August where if you Patronize one of our restaurant partners in the month of June or August, you’ll get a free ticket to the Twilight Drive-in at the Utah Olympic Park (valued at $30 that can be redeemed at any of the Twilight Drive-in screenings in June, August or September 2022) or two tickets and free popcorn for film screenings at the Santy in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 ($21 value). Our current restaurant partners include: Blind Dog, Hearth and Hill, PC Brewing and Versante Hearth & Bar. Details and more information can be found at parkcityfilm.org.
In addition to the drive-in screenings, Park City Film will return to the Jim Santy Auditorium on June 21st for a special free screening of Gregory Nava’s biopic, ‘Selena.’ The screening will be a part of the 2022 Latino Arts Festival and will be preceded by the Sundance Film Festival Short, “We Are Here.”
Park City Film will also be partnering with the Park City Library and Basin Recreation this summer on the Park City Library patio for free screenings of Encanto on July 22nd (in Spanish with English subtitles) and Ron’s Gone Wrong on August 5th – these films will start at dusk (~8:45pm) and patrons are encouraged to bring low-backed chairs and blankets. Bring your family and enjoy one of these fun outdoor films!
And just in case you’d rather enjoy our specially programmed films from the comfort of your own home, we’ll be adding new titles to our virtual cinema at the end of June. Films will be announced this week and will be available for purchase and streaming our website, parkcityfilm.org.
We look forward to seeing you at the movies!
