This was the second time I attended one of the films, shown in the auditorium of the library. The building is interesting, and used to be the local high school.
I learned from a local that many of the films are ones that have been winners at Sundance previously. This year I got to see “The Company You Keep” directed and starring Robert Redford, and an amazing cast.
You can get tickets online, and if you are coming from out of town, you will know you can get a seat. Tickets are already very reasonable, and discounted for seniors.
Keep your ticket stub for the drawing for door prizes before the film is shown. This time I won a commemorative medal from the PC Museum!
Popcorn and drinks are much less than they would be at a regular theater. Locals bring their own bowls to put popcorn in.
The film series is dark over the summer, and they announced they will be doing some remodeling to the building, but expect to resume showings in the fall.
