About the Film
This year, over 13 million American kids will be bullied at school, online, on the bus, at home, through their cell phones and on the streets of their towns, making it the most common form of violence young people in this country experience. BULLY is the first feature documentary film to show how we’ve all been affected by bullying. Directed by Lee Hirsch and written by Hirsch and Cynthia Lowen with a cast that is fascinating to watch, BULLY depicts the effects of bullying on the victims, on those that do the bullying and those that stand by and do nothing about it.
There will be a panel discussion following the film. Panelists include Pamella Bello – Summit County Prevention Coordinator, Wade Carpenter – PC Chief of Police, Randy Carr – Owner, Director & Instructor of Kumon of Park City, Kathy Godwin – Co President SLC & the Mountain West Regional Director of PFLAG, Katherine Hoggan – Licensed Professional Counselor, and Christina Sally – Investigator, Summit County Courts.
