About the Film

The San Fernando Valley. 1973. The gas crisis rages, waterbeds are in their heyday, and teenager Gary Valentine (Cooper Hoffman) has just seen the girl of his dreams, photography assistant Alana Kane (Alana Haim). Our story follows this unlikely duo as they navigate the treacherous waters of young love, Hollywood both old and new, and Barbra Streisand’s unstable boyfriend.
