The History Boys

The History Boys, based on the Tony Award winning Broadway play, tells the story of an unruly class of bright, funny history students in pursuit of an undergraduate place at Oxford or Cambridge. Bounced between the opposite approaches of their humorous maverick English professor and a young, shrewd teacher hired to up their test scores, the boys attempt to sift through the diverse pressures in hopes of passing the daunting university admissions process. Their journey of enlightenment becomes as much about themselves as people, as it is about their education.
