Diagnosed with a mental illness halfway through his senior year of high school, a witty, introspective teen struggles to keep it a secret while falling in love with a brilliant classmate who inspires him to open his heart and not be defined by his condition.
Based on the book Words on Bathroom Walls by Julia Walton. A panel discussion will follow the film with Dr. Xavier Amador, founder of the LEAP Institute, world champion skier and CONNECT Summit County mental health ambassador Alex Schlopy, and two-time Olympian Holly Flanders for a discussion on the film’s portrayal of mental health and the reality of a mental health diagnosis at a young age.
