What time do the shows start?
Showtime is 8pm.
What time are gates open?
The parking lot will open at 6:30pm if you’d like to arrive early and have time to set up your chairs, etc.
How will we be able to see the movie if we are watching before it’s dark?
The screen is an LED screen, not projection, so it is much like those used at professional outdoor sports events and can easily be seen in daylight.
Can I leave my car running during the show?
Sorry, but no. Our policy is that cars may be started intermittently to regenerate power for your radio, or run a bit of heat, but we request that your vehicle remains off during the show for the health and safety of everyone. Given the cooler evening temperatures in the mountains, we recommend bringing blankets, sleeping bags or a nice puffy coat to wear. Also, don’t forget body heat from your fellow movie goers! This is a Drive-in after all – cuddle-up!
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Yes. While we encourage patrons to purchase tickets in advance online, if there are tickets still available to a film there will be the option to purchase a ticket at the entrance (credit cards only). Once the show is sold out online, however, it is sold out and no more tickets will be released. Please check the web pages for the individual films to see if tickets are still available after online sales close – typically around 3pm the day of the screening.
Can I use my Park City Film 10-punch pass or Comp Tickets?
No. These passes were designed for our film screenings at the Santy, and so are based off an $8 ticket price. The tickets for the Twilight Drive-in at Deer Valley are $40-$50.
I hear I can win a Free Ticket to the Twilight Drive-in – how does that work?
Spend $50 (or more!) at one of our restaurant partners in the months of September-October and get a free ticket to the Twilight Drive-in movie of your choice! Or, redeem your coupon for 2-tickets to Park City Film’s weekend screenings at the Santy this fall. Details here.
Can I bring my camper, bus, limo, etc.?
Sorry, but no. In order to accommodate everyone, the maximum we can accommodate is sprinter vans and pickup trucks without campers. Normal shell toppers are ok.
Can I watch the movie from the back of my car? How about the roof?
Hatchbacks that extend beyond the roof of the car must remain closed. Sitting in truck beds is allowed. Absolutely NO sitting on the roofs of cars due to safety concerns and as a courtesy to the cars behind you.
Can I sit next to my car to watch the movie?
Yes, you may bring low-back chairs to sit in the space next to your car (left side/driver’s side only). You must maintain 6ft of distance from other parties and stay within your allotted space.
Is parking limited? Can I park wherever I want?
Parking is designed to allow for one parking space and one open space next to each vehicle. This limits the overall number of vehicles onsite and allows for physical distancing–but also provides for a great show for all. Staff will direct you to park you according to vehicle size; large trucks/SUVs will be asked to park in back rows, mid-size in middle rows, and small/compact in front rows.
Are there restrooms available?
Yes. There will be access to standard and ADA restrooms inside Snow Park Lodge and on site in Lot 4.
Is there food available?
Yes. Popcorn, candy and sodas will be available for purchase.
I’m not feeling well. Can I still come to the show?
Please do not. For the safety of everyone, please stay home if you feel unwell, are exhibiting any COVID symptoms or are subject to isolation or quarantine due to exposure to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19.
How do I hear the movies?
We broadcast sound through our own FM transmitter. The FM station will be announced via the screen when patrons arrive onsite. You will need to have a working car radio or boom box that is capable of receiving FM frequency. Note that you will not be able to use your smart phone to access the sound as internet radio does not include local frequencies.
Will smoking be allowed?
No smoking will be permitted in the lot.
What is your rain check policy?
We are open rain or shine and all ticket sales are final. If for some reason mother nature should interrupt our showings and we cannot continue due to the safety of our guests, we will address as a case-by-case basis. Otherwise, the screen will be visible in the rain. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.
What if my car battery dies during the movie?
If your battery dies and you are unable to restart your car, please speak with any employee. We have portable battery chargers for your assistance.
We’re coming with a group, can we park next to each other?
We have a limited number of spaces, and we park vehicles according to height. We will do all we can to accommodate everyone, but can’t guarantee it.
We’re coming with a group and we didn’t get to park together. Can we go visit them in their spot?
Please keep all members of your party within your allotted parking space(s) so as not to infringe upon other patron’s enjoyment of the films.
What do we do with our trash?
Although there will be trash receptacles on the premises, for the safety of our staff, we kindly ask that you please bring trash bags and pack your trash out.
