Inspired by Chilean folk singer-songwriter Lalo Parra’s childhood memories, “Elephant the Horse” tells the story of two brothers, 8-year-old Roberto and 10-year-old Lalo, who promise their dying grandfather they will set free his favorite horse. The horse is stolen by Infausto, a tattoed scoundrel who works for a traveling circus. The rather shy Lalo and the more daring Roberto set off on a wild adventure as they infiltrate the circus to liberate their horse, finding danger and romance on the way.
